Re: "Live" from our Southwestern Swing
Well it is an overcast morning here in OK. It is not calling for rain today, so hopefully we will get our 2 runs in. There has been a steady stream of rigs coming in all morning. Super Street is first out and they should be calling them up shortly.
Chuck, hopefully we won't be getting into any of that red mud! (But I brought an extra pair of shoes, just in case!) Gary, come over and introduce yourself when we get to Phoenix! More later. |

Live Timing
I see Thunder Valley is listed on the live timing site but is showing off line. If someone is near the tower, tell them to turn it on as us arm chair drag racers are intrested in watching it. Thanks for the great reporting and we'll see you in Vegas.

Re: "Live" from our Southwestern Swing
Only 27 stockers made the first run this morning. There was a very strong cross-wind blowing. I will get the temp, etc. in a bit. Super Stock is in the lanes now.

Re: "Live" from our Southwestern Swing
Just made our 2nd and last run for the day. Density altitude was 2400' the first run and 2600' on that one. There are now 33 stockers. We hooked really well both runs. They sprayed the full length of the track on both sides before stock made their 2nd run. They have been having some timing issues on the track also. Our 60' and 330' were the same.
Hey Bob Unkefer!! You are doing a great job of announcing as per usual! Come by for a drink after work! We have most anything you would like. Even "Sex at the Racetrack" again. They were good yesterday when it was hot out here! Well we are going to have some lunch and some of those great track french fries that Bob keeps talking about. Then I will go out and get a few more pics. More later. |

Re: "Live" from our Southwestern Swing
Go to "Drag News", and click "30 Latest", and you'll see the results.
Same under the NHRA section, need to go to "30 Latest" to see the qualifying sheets for the Keystone Nat'ls.

Re: "Live" from our Southwestern Swing
I received this e-mail from Kay at 1320go.com.
There's a hardware failure and we've been working with folks at the track and the Division 4 people to try to come up with an alternative. We'll keep you informed if the situation changes. Thanks for your patience. |
