Below are a bunch of pics of how I have mine mounted. I understand Tim's desire of putting a motor plate into it, but if it never has had one before, why install one now. It was good till now right??? As far as the lead in the trunk. Hey, that's pretty cool. Get a flashlight and mirror and have a look in there. These truck lids are very heavy with no added weight to them if the torsion bars have been removed to assist in the lift. liteweight Last edited by Liteweight; 03-30-2017 at 12:06 PM. |

Re: Original hemi dart information
Joe Ralph Thompson Dart was sold to the Teuton family. You say it went from them to Jim Hale?

Re: Original hemi dart information
Looking at the front wheels guessing this was just ahead of the red/white/blue paint work in the 76 Indy picture above. While I'm stealing pictures from Teuton family facebook (at least I'm honest about where they come from ) Might as well put this one up. Big Joe Dart in primer. If you want a photo time warp to southern Louisiana Super Stock racing past and present, check out their facebook pictures sometime.

Re: Original hemi dart information
That would explain the tow rig rust.
You are probably correct. There was no caption on the post for that pic. Could very well have been it's "going away" picture. |
