The weather radar shows dangerous storms passing over right now.

I signed up for text to the lanes and am not getting messages. Our radio is not working and can't hear calls. Anyone else getting texts?

Btw, wind picked up and sky is brighter. Hopefully we get this done. Got work to do tomorrow.

Ok, here's what I texted to nhradivision3@gmail.com:

'Add Pete Beauregard 13'

Any tech help would be greatly appreciated and I will handsomely compensate you.

Sorry for the information blackout. And here is the story. A major weather front- dark clouds were quickly moving in. I made my run at 8:15 - returned quickly to my trailer and loaded - and it was raining by 8:30. Within 5 minutes it was a monsoon and I was outta there. I drove through heavy rail from the track and well into Michigan before it slowed to a slow drizzle.

The weather and conditions were tricky this morning - barometer had dropped from 29.30 yesterday to 29.13 at 8:00. And the wind had moved from a head wind to a cross wind. It was quicker than expected.

With the exception of the 4 hours lost on Friday with the timing system snafu, the racing was issue-free until that TS car went on its roof last night about 10:30.

Rt. 66 is a great facility. The hook was there all weekend with very little work necessary to keep it there.

JOLIET, Ill. - 11:35 a.m. - The remainder of the Burndown at Sundown event has been postponed.
A major factor in the decision to postpone is forecasts calling for severe weather later this afternoon, around the time track drying would be completed and the track would be ready to resume racing.

Details of the rescheduling will be published on the Division 3 website. So far, here's what it looks like: The Top Alcohol finals will be run at the national event at Summit Racing Equipment Motorsports Park July 2-5; most of the Sportsman competition will be completed at the Division 3 event at National Trail Raceway in Columbus, July 24-26; the Pro Fuel Harley finals and the Snowmobile finals will be run at their next event.

All of the completed rounds of competition have already been posted on Drag Race Central.

A few quick images from Joliet. (Sorry Patsy hasn't schooled me on how to post yet names near images yet!)

The starting line scrape detail crew early Saturday
Bruce Gibson's cool Demon
Bobby Bishop and Bobby Gere Q3
Your reporter event Mike Delahanty and MJ Quinn Q3
Gary Merrick and Joe Martens E1
And Mike Delahanty again, in the tunnel E1
I took a picture of Mike and his car with his camera to post, guess it was too bad to!
Had a real nice chat with the staging lane crew during the late night Top Sportsman crash clean up. Pretty sure it was one of these cars.
Would have been nice to finish it all on Saturday, safe travels to those heading to Ohio.

orange car near lane Bob, looks to me either it got away from him or tapped the breaks on big end but still went 199 mph, so who knows. Could been a mechanical failure of some kind, made a hard right into wall right at finish line, then across the track.

Brian Brown is the driver of the TS car. The instant he got off the throttle the car went hard right into wall . He's driven that car along time ,was owned by Greg Hill of Indicom electric but was purchased by another guy that kept Brian at the wheel. He walked away unhurt ,testimony to a well built car. There tearing the car down to determine what happen for sure.
