Words can not describe how empty my heart is, I've lost a good friend, the racing community has lost a great racer, My prayers go out to Pat and Kevin at this time.

Prayers to Kevin & mom and all Scotts friends and family.Scotty was the best let me keep my rig at his place in Florida so I could race before gainsville .Would pick me up at the airport and then feed me and show me a GREAT time.Scott made me a lot of friends and I will forever be thankfull to call Scott Helms my Friend...Gonna drink some peach now

The last time I seen Scott was the Citrus Nationals right before he left for Louisiana. He offered me a ride to the track and a place to stay in his motorhome. It was a great weekend and he was really excited about his new job. His hospitality was over the top! R.I.P. Scott! You will be missed my friend!

Had the pleasure of one evening in Scott's company at PRI, and he made a lasting impression on me. Can't believe that I will not have another opportunity to connect on this side. RIP Mr. Helms.

I lost a wonderful newphew in Scott. Everybody loved his happy cheerful nature, he made everyone smile and was a joy to be around. We were so proud of him. today we lost a huge part of our heart and will miss him so much. condolences to pat, kevin, an leigh.
