All of John Force rigs are tagged from Indiana for tax purpose. Jeff Teuton idea has some merit, more money left over for beer and food. Maybe this would be a great time to send a message to NHRA and let them come to you for once with an attractive packages: with each entry two crew enter for free and lunch every night, beer can be had at the Ford Tent. At the very least you would feel the love when knowing you're getting sc$#$ed. Claude

And the trailer tires work really great........... on your trailer....

Did you know that originally.......Chrysler Corp was going to put space saver spares on the cars?

But sanity, provided by my hero Mike P, reasoned them into the trailer tires which at least won't go to recycle pile until they are worn out.

Ours went onto our trailer. Useful indeed.

Jeff,
Can you please post the information about the Florida permits? We are planning on going to Gainesville and need to get whatever we need (besides beer and wine--in proper stemware, of course).

Thanks,
Patsy

Florida, FLDOT and the application is there, might have to fish around, but it's there. Up to 100 ft and good for one year 15$. Get a couple of feet extra is what they told me the first time. It's the same price.

When I had the big trailer I got the permit. Never had to show it though. But it was simple did it on line. I called them and they gave me the permit number before it came in the mail.

I was surprised at the 65' limit so many states have. My regular 40' motor home and little 24' trailer is 3' over length about everywhere. Dumb-azzed me, I wasn't aware of that before I bought it. Luckily I have not been stopped yet. Most are longer than mine.

Best advice I ever got was from Jeff about trailer tires. Also (same dumb old man) I wasn't aware trailer tires are only speed rated to 65 MPH. Now have Micheleans speed rated at 112 MPH. The 10 ply side walls he recommended also stopped the sway when meeting or passing big rigs. I would not use my DP's trailer tires on my trailer. Talk to Jeff about that. He knows.
