I have 3 actually...the third is in my secret partner's name. Sadly, if I (or he) wins, the motor isn't going into my Corvette, but another project we have going together. So, I'll still be being chased when running my Corvette in S/G.

On the plus side, the new small block in my Corvette does make some good power, and has me chasing in S/St more times than not (probably where a back-half car belongs these days anyway), and can fool some people. Funny story - at my local 1/8th mile track a couple of weeks ago I was dialed a 6.96 on the stop. My competitor 2nd round was dialed 6.1X. After I won, his comment to me, seemingly somewhat angrily, was "That car ain't no 6.96 car." My response, "Um no...no it's not."

Anyway, looking at the entry list I now see that the odds are stacked against me with a few guys buying 5 tickets! My partner and I discussed the possibility of buying the rest of them, and like you said, it *IS* for a good cause. So, any of you out there that are thinking about getting a ticket, you better do so quickly before I pull the trigger on the remaining 39...
