Re: Original hemi dart information
Here's one - what ever happened to Mary Ann Foss' "Go Hummer" Dart?
That one is still unaccounted for. Mark J |

Re: Original hemi dart information
Mark J,,'il professore di Hemi',
Still working on the Keystones, don't despair. Thanks on the Charlie Lendrum info. What was the deal with that spoiler on the rear deck..Was that 1970-ish?? A Lebanon Valley Dragstrip regular,,based out of Albany-region.. Not too much info or photo's of his SS/BA-SS/AA-Pro/Stock Dart. Albany Dodge, Central Avenue, Albany,,adjacent to Wolf Road. Was at Dover Drag Strip in Dutchess County,,but not a regular. When he came downstate, it was out to Long Island, to New York National or West Hampton/Suffolk County Drag Strip. Paul |

Re: Original hemi dart information
Paul,
I only have one photo of the Lendrum Dart - must have been 70 - had 69 grill & running P/S (no spoiler at that time). I can't seem to post pics here either Mark |

Re: Original hemi dart information
Mopar68,
You continue to amaze me with your collection of unbelievable pictures! The Dallas County Dodge Dart,, WOW!!, Never saw that car with such a clear and perfect side photo. The back end of the (2) Darts,,,in front of the left side Dart, appears to be Don Grotheer's Cuda??..ET Record times shoe-polished on the rear windows of the Darts..SS/B: 10.62,,,,,,,,and SS/BA: 10.71, Could that be the 69' NHRA Springnationals at Dallas 6/15/69... .......Mark J,, Got (3) on Charlie Lendrum,,,one with the 69' grille and rear deck spoiler, running Pro/Stock 1971..The hood scoop looks slightly altered..It looks like at York US 30, so I'm guessing the 1971 Super Stock Magazine Nationals, May 71. You know, Albany Dodge is still in business, in Albany, New York. Paul |

Re: Original hemi dart information
Does anybody know what became of a Hemi Dart that was first owned and run by Kilbane Dodge in Strongsville, Ohio. They only ran it a year and I think they sold it to S&S Auto in Cleveland. I saw this car when it was first delivered at the dealer. It had a Pasley print that ran along both sides of the car when they painted it.

Re: Original hemi dart information
M68,
You still receive 'mucho kudo's' for finding it, and posting it. Have to do research on the Darts, to see just who the owners are. With those posted ET times on the windows. 10.61 for SS/B was set by Arlon Vanke (I think on 1/69), and the 10.72 for SS/BA by Don Grotheer. The 11.86 on the 'Hugger Orange' COPO Camaro ahead of the right side Dart is for SS/DA (A 427 Camaro, more than a full-second slower than the SS/BA Hemi Dart...HEE! HEE! HEE!) Paul |

Re: Original hemi dart information
[QUOTE=mopar68;170894]Hi Paul! I wish I could take credit for the pix but I can't; I found them once upon a time, somewhere on the web. Yes, I noticed the Grotheer car...any idea who the two Dodge Darts belong to?
Yep! The one on the left is the Gene Snow Dart driven by Terry Pringle and the one on the right was also from TX - can't think of the name right now but it was owned by a Mexican guy in Corpus Christi. Mark Janaky |
