Raced Lee several times back in the Dover Drag Strip days when they had stock eliminator as a weekly program, then Lebanon Valley and Conn. Dragway. When I relocated to NC in ‘99 my daughter stayed in NY to attend Marist College. She had a major Valve train failure with her Geo and I called Lee for help. His shop was 35 miles away and he picked up the car for me and had her back on the road immediately. I purchased one of his Camaro stockers from him in ‘02 and he and Carol delivered the car to me in NC ! I will always remember his kindness. R.I.P. my friend. Condolences to Carol, Bryan, and family.

Always a smile on his face and a good laugh, one of the long time Northeast racers that made racing all that much more fun. Will be missed , Rest in Peace my friend.

RIP Lee Valentine, he was helpful when I started putting together my Stocker 5.0. Just saw him at Numidia and had a nice little conversation with him. He was even wearing a CRT shirt last time I saw him. Very sad news.

Lee was at a Memorial service for another racer, when he was introduced to a guy building a 3rd gen. Camaro. He ended up giving him stainless step headers, converter, parts, etc. It was about $3K worth of stuff. Gave it to him. Says it all.
