I just heard from one who knows these things, Sonoma is not kaput, it's the week after Vegas and before the Pomona finals. 16 in a row. Seattle will be the first race, then Denver, Brainerd, Topeka, Chicago, Indy... they actually took the travel into consideration. Needless to say any points meets will conflict.

If it stays true:
Aug 1 & 2 - Seattle Aug 8 & 9 - Denver Aug 15 & 16th - Brainerd Aug 22nd & 23rd - Topeka Aug 29 & 30th - Chicago Sept 4 to 7 - Indy Sept 12 & 13th - Maple Grove Sept 19th & 20th - Charlotte Sept 26 & 27th - Gainesville Oct 3 & 4th - St. Louis Oct 10 & 11th - Bristol Oct 17 & 18th - Dallas Oct 24 & 25th - Houston Oct 31 & Nov 1st - Vegas Nov 7 & 8th - Sonoma Nov 14 & 15th - Pomona Norwalk isn't on the revised schedule for those who are wondering. Will probably just be like the plan was Sportsman time runs and maybe 1st round Friday and Pros Sat & Sun till completion. Going to be tough if they have weather or because they are so close to the next event Monday will become the next option. |

National event entry will still follow the traditional pre-entry/quota/grade point process.

NHRA officials have announced that they are working with state and local officials as well as host tracks and teams on a revised Mello Yello Drag Racing Series schedule, which will be announced SOON The season is expected to resume in August. This is such a fluid situation and there is no actual schedule posted right now. I sure hope NHRA and the professional teams can hold on right now as even with low purses and dropped car counts for the sportsman, I like what we have. I am not speculating but do have my fingers crossed |

Its crazy here on the left coast . Lots of private events and private tnt getting canceled at the last minute due to other types of racing going to cities and counties throwing other venues under the bus . This whole thing is bringing out the worst in people . Very sad

You guys are falling for fake FaceBook news
This is the link from NHRA's website https://www.nhra.com/schedule/2020 I know we are all anxious but pay attention - please. Almost none of the comments in this thread are relevant to the real schedule. Look for the word "POSTPONED" in the title line for each race. You are welcome. Ron
