Generally speaking I don't usually get in on these conversations. I've been racing in Stock for a long time including two cars for the last 3-4 years and have maintained a grade point of 5 or higher until the last 3 years due to personal reasons. I've been trying to race National events last year and this year to no avail because of my GP. Then I see they have snowmobiles, bracket racers,275 racers etc. What right do they have over me? I will be going to more div. races to get my GP up but in the mean time I must watch guys with no GP get in.

How much did the ET guys pay to enter? I understand they raced their way in to this thing, but they had to pay something.

I would think that ET racers would more likely jump into s/street, s/gas, or s/comp because of the electronics involved ie delay boxes, throttle stops etc. Stock and Super/Stock you have to make the car go fast not slow it down.

Personally, I think they should allow the Pro ET guys to double enter in their class and Pro Stock to fill out the field...HAHAHA

Eight Pro ET cars?? That would be 8 bottom bulb, footbrake, no electronics race cars. Here's a thought. When stock gets to 8 cars, bring in the 8 bracket cars, pair them up and race for the Wally.
I am sure the E-town staff made a deal with Wally World to showcase their best of the best racers who run their bracket program. NHRA throws the track a bone and 8 locals play on Sundays big stage. Sounds like a win win for all involved. |

I started a New Thread on this topic:
It's called: Bracket Racing vs Stock/SS Racing. Instead of hijacking "Ken's Live From Englishtown Thread." Thanks Everyone.

My wife raced in this last year. It was "Street" class though. We payed nothing and had two tickets for the complete event Thursday thru Sunday.
