I'll find a photo of my nova from the street but the funny thing, when I opened the site is a picture of Jungle Jim and Pam. Guys and Gals who remember those Super Stock and Funny Car match race days do you remember how many days and nights a week that guy ran a match race. I think you could have seen that car at a race track everyday of the week.

The molds for the AMX were left outside by a dumpster.Poetic justice as far as I can see.The nose sort of reminds you of the 70 Shelby and the 71 mustangs. The mustangs wore it much better.

I installed lots of stiff springs in all kinds of cars...front and back in the early 70's
I did not have a spring compressor and used to use the lift and a jackstand in the opposite corner from where I was trying to install the spring...... Used a manual tire machine bar to pry the spring into place and lower the car and sneak in there and get the ball joint attached...... Nothing like a '68 GTO sitting way up high front and back...... Pro Track bias tires......and Cragars if you had some dough.... The ride was a little rough....but hey that was the in thing...... Lots of cracked and busted shock mounts if you used air shocks....like Gabriel Hi Jackers... Not for me though......I just did what ever they wanted..... I did buy a K-D coil spring compressor and used it for many years and just looked for it a few weeks ago.....couldn't find it.....Best tool you could have for installing those springs.....

Good stuff, Doug. I had a '69 Road Runner with cragars and hi-jackers. It didn't get much better than that! Ha ha.

The oldies but goodies sight has some great pics. The (this is ford country) store pic looks like the old Ed Martin Ford store on shadeland ave accross from eastgate shopping center back in the days.
