I've seen both of those cars in person. Mighty fine pieces of machinery they have! Nice wheels up shot of Larry's car! Good luck to all!!

Just a quick thanks to Cal Method for helping out Andy on the starting line today

Greatly appreciate his help in my absence

Curious observation is the tremendous lack of CJs and DPs

We are there and so is Bo Butner - in the east I see Dave Thomas and Bo Kinney are running

Must be at least 25 to 30 cars not running

Why are we there - we can least afford it - oh I forgot we are addicted to racing - LMAO

:-) peace

Here are some pics from the bluff beside staging lanes. This is a full 360 degrees of the track and surrounding property. As mentioned elsewehere, track is downhill, shutdown uphill, return road downhill and staging lanes downhill. This is a neat facility. They also have a RV park with hookups that many of the racers take advanatge of. Nice concession area and shower house. Nice spectating area.

This is a track that is built by racers, for racers. This is their big race of the year, and they value their customers. Always a racer dinner and I remember all the free Blue Bunny you could eat. Only downside are the gravel pit roads, but it's easy to look past that. Was in the seating area while they used the track dryer and could have toasted marshmallows. I am glad I have had the opportunity to race there. For anyone looking for a bucket list race this one is a no brainer. The years I've raced there I don't think I've heard a single complaint about the track. Always fun to match up with some division 5 cars too. Looks like it will be a beautiful weekend!

Sounds like a good race to go to. I wish I was there this weekend.

Well we just got back from the Racers Appreciation Dinner and thanks to the Kuhlman's for a very nice dinner. It is greatly appreciated! I have a few pics that I will post in a bit. The track hooked good and as usual the people are very friendly. And, oh BTW, after our last run I went to the trailer to talk to Larry about his run, and I said "You have something on your lip" and it was homemade chocolate chip cookies and he still didn't bring me back one! Oh well, I guess I will have to go to the scales myself if I want one!!
