I did the same thing on the 348.Shoulda known about the 2X4 setup. Also confused the
second Stude engine with an early Ford Y block.Early stages of dementia.

18 -- and I should know better after reading where everyone else got it wrong - damn avanti got me too -- if we had to be tested and all the engines were black it would be harder .

For a moment it felt like 1970 and I was doing tech at Mountain View Speedway again - thanks Tommy ...................

Jack, believe it or not I would have gotten the same score if the pics were in B/W.Every
engine has it's subtle means of identification.IE:the 348 with trips opposed to the 409 with dual quads.

The Avanti almost got me, too...but if you look closely, somewhere in that engine bay, there's a label with a big 'S'!

19 for me.....and I just turned 39 yesterday. I will admit, though...the 348 was a guess - only because I've never seen a pic of a hi-po 409 with orange valve covers.

100% for Old Man Woodfin

In the "olden days" I worked on some version of all those engines.

19. Didn't know 52 was old, but hey, good company. The 348 almost threw me, but I remembered it from another time, the valve covers made me think but the fenders of the car looked older than what a 409 could have been in, so it was a guess.

Got 18, I mised the one on the 428 Ford. I thought it had the wrong carb, cam , and intake. I thought it was bracket motor.
