I have a question (maybe a stupid question) .
With the index brackets Do you get to dial a number between the index and the next index up? Or is it 13.00 the only way you breakout is to go 12.9999?

As has been said the index classes can break out, yes they leave heads up but have to drive the finish line to keep from breaking out, just like running eliminator in stock or SS. From the people I have talked to, I think the car counts were decent for this time of year. I am sure that the heat is one reason why the spectator count was down. Night races would be a big help this time of year in the south. I think the only reason NHRA is involved with this deal is because of the popularity of the heads up classes the last few years, they feel like they can cash in. |

The index classes in this deal are just like the .90 classes, If it is 13.00, that is the number you are trying to run every pass.
