Re: Pro stock
That isn't a big surprise. It just shows how far away they are from their core business. I used to think that the decision makers didn't care. Now I am afraid to say they actually don't know what racing is. We can only hope that the overpaid execs that are there now move on before the whole deal goes sideways. Maybe some people with passion and understanding about racing will have a chance to save it. At least the grass roots associations are there so we have a place to race if the current regime crashes the association into the ground. I wish it was better, but I fear that it is not going to get better before it gets worse for us as NHRA members.

Re: Pro stock
I remember when yourself , the Teuton's and a few others raced Top Stock and the stands were full. It was a great time for Stock in general.

Re: Pro stock
If you have not seen this article it is a good read. It talks about some of the issues raised here and also reveals why the Hemis don't run well under the new rules.

Re: Pro stock
I have always been a fan of E.E.,s and root for her..but was a little disappointed at the kick in the crotch she delivered to Mopar on T.V. "it's nice to drive a car that goes somewhere when you let the clutch out" I'm sure nobody was more frustrated with not being competitive than Mopar....maybe just say.."we appreciate all of the hard work and the funds they provided, but we feel like the move to Chevrolet is in our best interest " and just leave it there. You don't want to burn bridges because a stroke of the pen in Glendora could have Dodges showing tail lights to Chevys.

Re: Pro stock
I've never been a fan of EE and thought we were seeing her real self. The big kick in the crotch was when Mopar pulled their support of Alan Johnson and gave it to EE and Jeggy.

Re: Pro stock
Why would ESPN even care about Pro Stock? The TV coverage is now on FOX.....
