Any ideas who would adjust the 2 step going down the track, and why? Just no logic behind some rules.

And a note about D 4 schedule.

Originally I forecast to be ready for the spring of 2016 season. I have revised that forecast and now think one of these dates is possible.

September 18-20
Thunder Road Raceway Park
Gilliam, La.
October 9-11
Thunder Valley Raceway Park
Noble, Okla.

The racepak has an internal G meter that requires a specific mounting orientation. These photos show the proper orientation. The USB card is accessible when drivers seat is tilted forward.

Also, the last photo shows the beginning of connecting wires.

Friday updates.

The gear set has returned from treatment. I like shiny parts

I talked to evans perf. last week and will be sending my dana gears for the same treatment.
This build has been very interesting as I have always liked the trucks and wonder why you see so few out there.

Jim,

The S-10 package is a good choice. As this build progresses I continue to enjoy the experience.

My age is 68, I have built MANY race cars and find that each package has it's personality.

The S-10 is no exception, even with it only about mid-way in construction it's advantages are showing. Some things I already like;

- easy entrance and exit
- good, comfortable seating position
- good visibility
- relatively easy to work on
- cool appearance in race trim
- it has the unique factor I like, especially with the step bed
- the body parts are plentiful and reasonably priced

just to name a few

Mocking up for visualizing.

Hood to carb clearance will be good. Header fitment is excellent. Header will have good tire clearance and good ground clearance.

When race ready it will have a Victor E intake. The photo is just what I had for visualizing.

The Quick Fuel replacement carb has an adjustment screw with label "fast --- slow"

I have it set on "fast"

How much H.P. does your engine make?
