He's all the way out on the Left coast, but fellow stock class racer Leo Glasbrenner owns Remac Transmission and his collection of Wally's speak for themselves.

I have a brand new McClay that’s only been used for a mock up. Electric 1-2 auto shift, 2.84 first gear and Turbo input shaft.

I had to drill out and helicoil most of the threads on the bolts and put pipe sealer on the bolts too, then sprayed the gasket with copper gasket seal spray and cemented it on to the pan. Also recheck and redo the o ring and thread seal on the plunger detent for the auto 1-2 if you have one.

Leak free now

Do you have an Ultrabell on it? Does it appear to be leaking at the front? Just curious because I just went thru a customers with that problem.

For the leak check the shifter shaft seal,it's above the pan rail.It can fool you in thinking it's the gasket...gsa612

Thanks for the replies guys. No Ultra-Bell and I just bought a couple Fel-Pro Gaskets, One in the Nova just got one. I have 3 of these bastiges and they all seem to leak somewhere else. The 1-2 shift adjuster is a big culprit. Each one got some love and that seemed to help.
