One of the best ever to come out of division one,could do it all driver,engine builder and mentor to many. Tought many how to race stock the right way.

Very sad to hear this news. I was one of Dave customers for years. He always treated us fairly and built great reliable power. I have many fond memories of going to his shop and bench racing with Dave and Eddie. He was a great guy.

Very sad. My condolences to Dave's family. He was a great racer and a great machinist. I raced against him a few times and he was tough!
