Great to have some reports and look forward to the live streaming. Perhaps Tim got some sort of contingency sheet he could share? As usual NHRA is up against it for getting something out on who is going to be posting this year. What they just put out doesn't offer much help.

Interesting: What V-6 runs F/SA?
F/SA 11.85 index vs SS/CX 10.80 index I would like to hear the story on that. Bet there is more to it than a decal change. Want to take bets that there is an engine transplant?

Nope, no bets. Hate to lose. I'm working on a SS Modified conversion for my 68 Mustang. Modified classes are GT style rules - any engine same badge. Not many limits on head work or valves. CX is 10.5 lb/cu in 2500 lbs min. naturally aspirated 4 or 6 cylinder. The hood designation is hard to read enlarged, but my cash is in the 250 cid pot. 7 mains available in nodular iron in the 70's.

I've had the pleasure of parking next to Alvin. He is a very nice gentleman. When he runs it in F/SA with the V8 it runs well. He hasn't had a lot of success with the V6 yet.

The F/SA combination was a Cleveland. V6 drops in place.

I'm very excited about the new season being underway. That means it's that much closer to Feb. 22nd. That's when I escape the Great White North and fly to Phoenix.
For the first time since 2015, I'll be attending both the Phoenix National event and the Regional. I'm looking forward to getting reacquainted with everyone in the Stock/Super Stock pits. Good luck in 2018, everyone!
