One thing about the Pro Trans is the all the gear ratios offered. Metrics not so much. The metric 200 is very close. If you go with a metric, Remac, or Sepanek is my choice. Obviously McClay is a top choice as well.
I have one from Remac in my Firebird, and it has 200 runs on it since the original build. It is overdue for a freshen up. It will go to Sepanek for that |

I had over 300 runs on mine before
It was taken apart. Scott has tons of gear ratios, check his web sight. And no not a big block but a pretty healthy Lt1 that routinely goes 1.35-1.38 60' @ 3400lbs!!
