STOCK heads up shootout!!!

ATTENTION ATTENTION ATTENTION!!!!!! I'm trying to drum up some interest in a heads up stock eliminator shootout race at the belle rose Louisiana division 4 national open the weekend of November 18th and 19th. As of now my plan is to run it on the Friday night of the national open after the qualifying is done for the day. We will base it off the NHRA factors for each combination at 8.5lbs per factored hp which is NHRA's B weight break. Any combination that can get to 8.5lbs per factored hp will be eligible for this race and tech and scales will be fully enforced. $250 entry fee is my initial thought and pay back 75% to the winner and 25% to the runner up. So based on 10 cars it would pay $1875 to win and $625 to runner up, that's better than any class payout we ever see at a national event and since this is a national open there are no horsepower penalties for going more than 1.20 under the index so we can truly have an all out baddest of the bad competition. I'm gonna be on the phone with all the vendors I know and see if we can get some sponsorship dollars behind it. Like I said as of now this is just a thought and I'm open to any help and ideas. This will be for natural stock class cars only, no factory stock cars. Automatics and sticks are allowed, your car doesn't have to legally fit into B in NHRA as long as u can get to 8.5lbs per factored horsepower you will be allowed to enter.
