Yes, there was a heads-up run at the Division 2 event at Gainesville this weekend. This particular contest was between two AA/SA entrants, both excellent competitor's, evenly matched with time-tested performance capabilities. The fact is that both of these vehicles were over 40 some-odd years old. That's the story! If you're saying that the NHRA's re-formulating of Stock Eliminator was a positive effort, I'm sure many of us would agree. If you're saying it was a complete success, I would guess a good number of us would have to say "the jury's still out!" But what happened this past weekend in Gainesville had absolutely nothing to do with any of this at all. And as Paul Harvey would say - "That's the rest of the story"!

Ok, I'll explain this one. The OP is actually talking about Noland complaining about the new cars all these years. The new cars no longer run AA/SA we all know that. I think the OP was suggesting it was funny that he got his *** kicked by an older car.
Disclaimer-This is my interpretation of the post only! It was a way cool race to watch.

The best way to avoid thread disintegration is to provide clearly stated and complete information to begin with. This is not meant to slight Paul, it is a general statement.

Guys like Paul who only think selfishly find it impossible to understand that the new car issue was about more than just one person or group of people for that matter. It was about fairness and of course it has been somewhat remedied. It would help if Paul had ever put a race suit on and raced in Stock. He may better understand fairness rather slinging poop from his keyboard.
