Has there ever been a 4 cyl. car run in the 11's in Stock ?

Both can be replaced with much better parts.

It would be tight. Only requires a roll bar. Keep in mind that you would have to run with the top up.

....No doubt, under stock class rules, they could be made to run well, especially putting in a different trans/converter....

I bet that both combinations would do well.

....Big heavy wheels all around, stock are 18x8. I believe smallest front wheel would be a 16 inch due to brake size.....

You would want to install aftermarket brakes.

It wouldn't be cheap to build a Solstice, but I think it would be a cool car to race. I would love to have a four cylinder wheelstander!

Andrew the turbo charged version is actually a 2.0l but I have seen a cobalt ss (fwd) with a tune cold air intake and exhaust go 12.80s 113mph leaving at idle.

Yes, he was asking about Stock Eliminator.
If you add Super Stock, there are and have been many 4 cyl cars that have gone quicker than 11's.
