My #53 car, a Victory Red 427, was delivered to me the day before Thankgiving and that will surely be a day I will never forget. GM and all the folks at the Oxford, MI facility really did a great job. After having taken delivery on many new Chevy cars and trucks over 4 decades, this was one memorable experience. I have yet to see the first quarter mile in my new COPO but the entire order, build and delivery process has made me one happy customer. You will have a great day getting that car and seeing it home in your own garage will be very rewarding.

This is one of the toughest parts of owning a COPO. I always hope that everyone is looking in the other direction!
http://classracer.com/classforum/att...1&d=1355179753 Jack, I am so glad that you got one, Your cars are always very cool. |

Mack - The Victory Red is a sharp color for sure -- but I've never been a plain vanilla kind of guy - so , yes -- it'll be "plenty loud" after a trip to Ryan Koreks' paint booth . Hemi Moose - Got a bunch of signatures on the inside of my trunk deck - including mine . Larry - All COPO's come with Hoosier tires - not sure what's up with letter / no letter deal . Danny - I'm gonna string a clothes line across the back for t-shirts .

It is keeping me on my diet! I was told that they removed the white because it stood out too much and turned the cars into a billboard for Hoosier. They didnt want anything to take away from the whole COPO deal. You cant blame them for that. |

Yes I seen that Jack...so what are your plans for the new Chieftain paint scheme on the Copo Camaro, or are you going back to the Jumping Jack Flash theme, curious were these names a Pontiac & Chevy thing. . Last edited by Hemi Moose; 12-14-2012 at 03:55 PM. |
