well the body that was said to be in great shape turned out to be a rusting hulk that should have been crushed years ago. There was not a straight panel or aea without rust.

I seen a rust free '63 Ford Galaxie sitting in a field in California that was for sale for $2000...pm me if you are interested.

TO keep it really Junior Stock ..

Run it as a Pure Stocker with their Cam Rules.

That way you do not have to install a Rool Bar and use Pump Gas.

Just like in those days ..

Only combo I see worth a crap (besides the big buck solid lifter engines) is the 390/300/280.
Not a lot of cam or carb, but plenty of compression..
L/Stock (stick) ..of course

Build it with a big FE and go Nostalgia Super Stock, there's already a number of them racing in the NMCA and NSS.
