Actually,what he said was (urban legend has it, that in the event of a tie, left lane always gets the win) So, I guess its a matter of if you believe in urban legend. lol. At least thats what he said on the espn broadcast.

If there was'nt a problem at the Fling wht did they change the tree and the right lane beams on Saturday during Time Trials.

Seipel said they only thing they changed was an incandescent bulb on the back side of the tree which was making the 3rd amber stay on due to a short the burned out bulb caused.

None of which lends any credence to some conspiracy that many of the S/SS guys that redlighted at the national event happened to be in the right lane and the left lane won a .0000 race in Pro Stock. Coincidence does not confirm causality.

Ran both lanes up there last weekend in Stock.

Friday
Left Lane .060, Left Lane .015, Right Lane .018

Saturday
Right Lane .076, Right Lane .018, Right Lane .002

Missed it both times on my first hit both days, but found my spot later.
