For C we are still one of the lighter cars. The weight thingy is pretty much in proportion. I can't think of any combo that runs C/SA that the LT1s shouldn't be able to run with competitively.

Kyle,
You can't think of enough combos!

Ok...the 396 iron head of PC Richards/Bertozzi, Glassbrenner's 400 Pontiac, Corda's LS1 Vette are some of the fastest in class. That being said, I still feel that we can be competitive against those.

I don't think anyone has YOU covered in weight. I mean the car, of course.

Jared, your right! I can't just add some junk to my trunk. To run C/SA I have to add over 200 lbs. and it needs to be distributed through out the car if you like your rear bumper!!! Larger radiator A/C-high altitude type +13lbs on front, different transmission&ratio---converter/real tight, very deep pan +27lbs.change out the whole rear end housing and ratio + about 12lbs. A 100lbs. gets bolted in and the rest in the box, a little insurance weight and WAA-LAA your almost 4000lbs.

Kyle,
If you get any more hp you are going to have to buy stock in a lead factory or put my fat butt in there somewhere!
Seriously, you have yours running good. Might not be fair compared to some of the new stuff now, but give them a little time... you and some others have a solid combo that will repeat with the LT-1.

I enjoy trying to chase those guys. I think we all can agree the 454 is not the greatest combo out there but Division 1 has a awesome collection of C cars from the LT1, LS1, Steel 396, 428 Ford. Gary has me covered by 2 tenths.....he told me that 3 days ago. Ha. Trying to make the horsepower and getting the right setup is a lot of the fun with the Corvette. I have close to 300 pounds in the car also to get to C weight.

Thanks Ken. It is very gratifying to work on these combos and get more performance out of them.
