Chip, I think his name is David Sharp the dragster was all burgundy color. Frank the wind was ripping Sunday morning I'm sure that's why they raced 1/8 mile. Joe it was good to meet you also, did you get your car straighten out? Good luck with the rest of your season. I'll post photos when I get home in a couple days.

Robbie, I just noticed that you were in Williston while you were down here. Did you stay at Williston Crossings? If you come down and stay in Williston next year let me know. According to the Griggs family I'm the mayor of Williston so I can give you the official tour. LOL.

I was fighting trouble with my carburetor, but got it to run ok after switching out the float bowls from another carb that someone loaned to me. I am going to get another carb from a friend to use at SGMP and get to try it before I buy it.

Hey Dan Moore, you're #1.

RIP Mark Graham & WB Hutto

Yep we stayed there, very nice town and RV resort. We also went to Dunnellon and the state park near there and had pie at Front Porch

Just wondering was Williston the only place you could find to stay or did you stay there because of rates?

I have driven through Williston many times over the years and it always seemed like a nice little town out in the middle of no where to me.

The only reason we pass through it was of Route 121 going from Rt. 19 over towards Gainsville.

Jimbo, another racer told me about Williston RV Resort. It was one of the nicest Rv resorts we sayed at . Everything was nice and new the pull thru's could accommodate a rig much larger then our's (67ft). They even take Good Sam's club the site was $38 a night and Williston and the town just south Dunnellon where very nice. We'll be back next year if possible.

Robbie,
Myself and the LaFlures are staying in Red oak RV Resorts in Bushnell. Its really nice with the same ammentities and great neighbors to boot. They all wanted to see the Race Cars and were mostly race oriented, even had a barbecue for us Friday night !
Most of the folks are from NY- Go figure ! Anyhow having a great time during the break. Heading to SGMP on Wed.
