not many guys throttle stop race with a 3 speed . that doesnt mean it cant be done.you should be able to shift into 2nd quicker than if it had a glide because you still have some gear multiplication. i would try .5 on the 1st shift and start with the 3rd shift right before the stop comes off say 1.5. this is just a guess on my part and you will have to experiment with timer settings as well as stop rpm adjustments

i think you will have a hard time running the number shifting on time with that setup. you will probably have to set your rpm really high.
