I know it's Mother's Day, but heck, bring her along! They even have a Mom's Eliminator racing for a diamond necklace that day)

Hey racers, think about it. This race could be even bigger if *you* make the commitment. Instead of just thinking about 128 cars for a S/SS, why not 128 Stock and 128 S/S? I've seen those kind of numbers just for a Divisional race. I see no reason why they couldn't draw that many cars for a $10K. Whatcha think, Lee and Brian? If we get enough cars can we run two complete separate eliminators, same entry/payout...? Could be the next big thing. Ultimately, that's up to the racers to come out and SUPPORT great races when they're offered.

Thanks to Lee and Brian for putting this together! Looks like a GRREAT weekend!
Darn, only 7hrs for me.....what's that in metric?.....is there an international category? Guess I could go round the east end of the Lake?

Wink Re: $10K to win Stk/SS Race at Numidia

Brian and Lee this is a great idea, it is the vision that I think Walley Parks had once upon a time. If this go's over like i think it will, maybe more local track operators will take notice and ask us for events like this one at their track. Its time for the sportsman racers to take control of our on destiny, and move away for corporate GREED. We as racers really do not need much to make this become a reality. We own the equipment, all we really need is the Tech. inspector for stock and super stock. I am sure we as racers can pay the Tech. inspectors more than they are earning now. Let's all support this event in a big way and have one Helluva turn out by the racing community.

Random pair, first three rounds stock and super stock will be seperated. Fourth round will start the stock and superstock combo. Qualifying would require fuel check, scales, and a tech. inspector for possible protests. I am sure that we could move towards Qualifying at events like this one, if we get a large turn out in numbers. Who knows we may just be racing class one day for a Poppel or Zaner class trophy, lol.

Talked with my race promotions partner Anthony Walton. We will award a "buy one, get one free" entry to the Fall Footbrake Frenzy III to the last remaining footbraked entry in the S/SS main event. (No transbrake or 2step, ties broken by R/T. Good for weekend entry or single race). The FFF is a big money Footbrake race held at Coastal Plains Dragway in Jacksonville, NC, Fri-Sat of Thanksgiving weekend. $5k on Friday, $20K and $5K double header on Saturday. www.staginglight.com/footbrake/
