#1 was 1.41 under last year.

I was #1 in 08 at 1.43 under that would be 1.13 under todays index's. So I stick by My 1.08 under as long as the Mustangs don't have to show it all. If they do well that estimate goes out the window.

The truck's not coming back out until the 60th US Nationals, and we're just hoping to qualify with the Cuda!

Eric merryfield went 1.26 under at Bristol and it was about 4 tenths slow there that would be 1.96 under the old index.

Remember stock runs at 7:30 in the morning. The air was about 1600' I think the air was better than 3000' that early in the morning. It is probably going to take a Tuesday hit in stock,
Superstock runs later It might be a Tuesday hit but I'll predict 1.15 for the pole.

Jeff,
The point is, I am sure you can did it with your rocket ship ... if you take the thottle stop off .. but the question is who will do it ?

Mickey,
Does not make much difference but those cars got 10 ..

Charley,
A 1.20 under for you is a tune up of about 75% ..

Ed

We all know Bob will be there, But I doubt he will want the #1 Spot. Getting beaten up by NHRA for the #1 spot, once is enough. Plus I'm not sure even Bob's Caddy could run with some of the Mustangs if they really opened it up..
