John,

This is a body in white along with exterior and interior kits. There were about 40 kits sold and they had to be pre order. Ford will being doing this again for the 2012 CJ.

It makes it much easier to build with the body in white along with the kits. You get everything you need and nothing you don't, and I mean everything, trim, fasteners. You get everything to finish the car except drivetrain, which can be purchased separately.

Ken, I have been talking to a small town Ford dealer that happens to have some connections with getting HP stuff ! So I'm told ! He, the owner a younger guy, has a new GT w/a 5.0 -412 HP coming and he plans on doing some road racing, as we only live 24 mi from Road America, and he's telling me about the possibility of rollers, race ready, less motor and trans ! I would like to see that one step further, as race ready with choice of engine, and trans, from top engine option for SS or Stk to say the V-6 for stk elim ! I guess if your going to wish, go for the whole thing ! I bought a whole bunch of FORD stock when it got down to 1.75 per,eh ha!!! That being said, I still really like the FORDS !John

It is quite interesting to see in the latest issue of Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords July 2010, when Evan tests the new 5.0 Mustang GT, puts a set of sticky tires, goes low 12's and pulls one tire off the ground during the launch from a car right off the showroom...

This thread made me laugh in two ways...#1 Larry's reply about changing the specs 6 times and #2 The fact Bill Hawk will no doubt bomb this combo into superstock where it belongs. Thanks for putting a smile on MY face, indeed!

Hey Larry the throttle body on the new 428 cj is the same as what the DP's are. So the 850 carb will likely slow them down. Jason, dont get your hopes up of Hawk bombing it making it a super stock only car. I think most would agree that he was "worked" the system with the 67' car pretty well.

I'm still amaized a 396 camaro rated at 400-405 beat Hawk in class at Indy last year...Dry ice may help reduce our runner volumes amonst other things but, Damn! I hope Hawk beats the crap out of that combo though I'm not to concerned about it.

The fumes are getting to you already. Last year at INDY, the wheelie bars broke on wed and we never made another pass. Maybe it was two years ago, that the honda short block 396 beat him. That's what im thinking.
