Floyd,

I take this one way. Simply, if the writer hasn't the courage to sign his real name AND give you contact information. He's not worth worrying yourself over. As well, I too, saw nowhere that you asked for anything from anyone on the forum.

Another take, here's how I look at this little internet community. How is it any different than any other, just has a broader reach. Don't we all have friends, acquientances, some even rivals, that we share things with? If I have parts and pieces that I don't need, many times no else thinks they need either. If for some reason, someone can use them, I can and have given them away.

I'd say he's just a bitter person, used to work with a guy like that. Wasn't happy with his own situation in life, so, to make himself feel better, he'd put everyone else down.

We all offered to help.

I agree with Monty....who ever sent this letter is most likely involved with the theft and probably feels threatened, which shows some hope.

Floyd NEVER asked for ANYTHING. He only voiced his devastated feelings towards the lowlifes that would do such a bottom feeding act.

To the ball-less a-hole who sent the letter: I think the one who puts their hand out IS YOU. The work of a thief makes the top of that list. Floyd on the other hand has done the opposite. He's put his work, money, time and effort into not only this project, but giving a bunch of kids an opportunity.

I'd say you're scared and perhaps YOU move on to something else that doesn't require stealing from those who've earned, like holding a cardboard sign at a highway exit or intersection. Floyd doesn't have the problem....YOU DO!!!

Thanks to all for your kind words and encouragement. I was hoping I hadn't offended anybody. I know not everyone believes in my goals and I can accept that. I just feel it is a good thing to keep kids off the street, teach them how to respect power and learn what it takes to be part of a team.

Floyd, I was hoping the post mark might help narrow down the location of the nameless coward.

I'm sure he won't have the guts to post his drivel here. At least not under a real name of his own.

Well I am just hoping that whatever has upset this person in his life gets worked out for him/her. I have no anger twoards this person nor will I ever. If he/she is the one that stole our stuff I hope they needed it for a better cause than the one I have. I am just disappointed they didn't have the nerve to stand up and say who they are. I was raised that if you have something to say to someone make sure they hear it from you personally. Never hide behind anyone or anything. This is why I post with my real name. I have nothing to hide.

Floyd, this guy who wrote you needs to be in your shoes and I'll bet he changes his tune. As someone else said, we are a family of racers who look out for each other. When we hear of a member getting their stuff stolen we look out for the stolen items in an attempt to get them back to you and the thieves put in jail. If I got my stuff stolen I would have done the same thing. I would look closer to home (50mile radius). Put the word out to everyone you know.

Floyd,

I've been around awhile, and seen an awful lot, but this is the first time I can remember a person being threatened just because they were trying to help someone else! We are our brother's keeper, no matter who that brother is! I'm embarrassed that this lowlife should identify him or herself as a "REAL" racer, when in fact he or she isn't a real human being. Please don't be discouraged! You'll bounce back from this and be all the stronger for it! Life is a circle!
