I hope they save the "FOUR WIDE" for the nitro circus. Watching a hard leaving stock or superstock car for the first 60 feet is like experiencing a fine wine, no way you can do it 4 at a time! Don Jackson

Gotta agree with you there my friend! Save the four wide stuff for the side show cars! Jim

The only way a 4 wide would be exciting in sportsman is four U/SA's.
The launch would appear almost heads up, they would be real close to each other all the way down, and plenty of time for the spectators to change their wagers as the race progresses, that is up to the 1/8th, then no more bets. Talk about a tight stipe MOV. Ron Ortiz U/SA I want the middle lane

Why not run 4-wide during qualifying?
It would take half as long to run a round of qualifying. The time saved might buy another qualifying run. I'd sure like the extra run if I could get it. Go back to pairs for eliminations.

Jared, I thought the same thing, and that would be cool to watch...especially if the cars ran nearly the same et.'s? Or how about this, a Ford vs Chevy vs B.O.P. vs Mopar/AMC? I think that would be very cool...what does every one else think?

Not impossible, Greg....You know what happens when you tell the people running the show that something's "impossible".....I think qualifying the Sportsman cars 4 at a time would be a great idea, though.....WJ

Isn't Pro prep different than Sportsman prep?
Run Pro's in 2 lanes and Sportsman in the other 2, each pair prepped accordingly. That might defeat the purpose of the 4-wide circus or not save as much time. But at least there might be more side-by-side competition for both. Hmmm, actually that might save a little time anyway! |

What's going to happen if they have a oil-down on 1 lane of both tracks during a Pro 4 wide run? Twice the down time, or?? Should be interesting to see just how smoothly things run....hopefully it'll work out...WJ

Careful. The idiot execs in Glendora might enhance us into 4 wide and shorten the eliminator that way.
