Can't they see that this affects any type of racing from Go Karts to Formula One cars, power boat racing, motorcycle racing; all of this creates revenue yet it's OK to let air planes to burn the same leaded fuel.
Looks like politicians are stupid no matter which side of the border they are on. Good luck guys, JimR

Don't think this is just a Canadian issue. Our brothers to the north may be fighting it now, but if they lose, it’s just a matter of time till politicians down here jump on the bandwagon. And our fight will be even harder, cause some tree hugging demmy will point north and say "they did it, so should we."

to eliminate comp.leaded fuel wich is less than5% and let aviation fuel continue is the most rediculious decision i have herd, just like the canadian emmision test,if car fails test and you spend over $400.00 in repairs at a authorized service centre, and still fails you are given a pass till next test, car is still putting out bad emmisions ,and then 100 miles away they have no test, ontario and canadian government are a joke , i fly a italian and a U.S flag on my home thats it.. venting

The 2010 IHRA Nitro Jam schedule has been released and this question should be asked of the stakeholders....will there be UNLEADED fuels on the approved list for the Sportsman classes and Pro Stock at Edmonton & Grand Bend?

Just in case the bureaucrats in Ottawa don't see the light, has anyone tried running C10 in a s/ss?
In the mean time, harrass the **** out of your local MP. |

I've asked this question of several local racers. IF Canada leaded fuel ban does go in effect how is IHRA going to have a race there? I have no idea how they can put this race on the schedule with this pending legislation. What will IHRA do if this is put in effect, just cancell all Canadian races? When will we all know the out come? Joe

what is the definition of importing? If a yankee brings it in his car for his own use, not for sale, is that still considered importing?
