Hate to hear this shocking and sad news. Saw Jim this past summer at Quaker City and got to catch up. Just goes to show you how short life truely is. Gonna miss ya big Jim.

boles funeral home in southern pines nc, is making the arraingments. there will not be a viewing, there will be a service friday 11/28/08 3.00pm at the methodist church in pine bluff nc.

About six months ago I was looking through my old photos and found this one taken in 1988 at an IHRA points race held at my local track. I looked on the back of the photo and it had Jim's name, address, and phone number on it. I wondered if he might have any more photos of my car at that race and called the phone number, it was no longer in service.

R.I.P. Jim.

Very sad. I bought a gazillion pictures from Jim. I bought my HR car from his ex-brother in law. He always made a point to come by and ask how the Ex's car was doing with a laugh.

The picture of him was taken this past season at Farmington with his own camera. The reason i know this is he gave a racer his camera to take a picture of me and Robert Kinton with him .They just cut out both sides ommitting both me and Robert ,but you can still see Robert's hand on Jim's shoulder . I have this picture ,which was sent to me from Jim saying a reunion from the good ole days ,and that they were . Jim will really be missed..So so sad .Once again GOD SPEED /.
