Re: Trans Shields
I sent them 2 shields, both unaltered and they called me within a week of receiving them and sent both out within the next week. That was earlier this season. People want to bad mouth them, if they dont have the product they cant ship it. I think the hold up is one of the materials used for the shields. The CSR shield is lighter than a blanket and much neater. Find a used, unaltered shield to buy and send it to them.

Re: Trans Shields
Your experience may vary......
I was charged in February 2024 for two shields and have heard the following excuses on my regular calls * materials * humidity * storms * staffing * business volume I have experienced quick turnarounds on recerts but this has not been a good experience..... Update - this post reminded me to call again for another update. They expect to ship them today. I'll be happy to receive. They build a good product but the wait can be difficult. Re: Trans Shields
I have a new one still in the box for a powerglide but dang it, that doesn't help you either. Hope you find one.

Re: Trans Shields
I second McKinney Corp. Amazing customer service. Built me a shield and I had a few minor issues on fitment, sent pictures and call later he shipped me a new one with a return label for the old one. Awesome people to work with.

Re: Trans Shields
I was told that they would not recertify if the unit was over 10 years old. If supply problems are that severe, perhaps they've changed that policy. It's worth a phone call before you send it.
