Re: New build, "Name That Truck" submissions requested
I'll try again. How about "Tex-S-Capade". Where do I "pickup" (no pun intended) my prize? Thank you... MB.

Good Job Dale! I I like that a lot. I expect Michael Beard can work with that. This is Super Strong in the running

I expect the "S" could be changed just enough [if needed] to not cause a problem

Re: New build, "Name That Truck" submissions requested
You cannot sell it. Period. If it is presented in such a way that it would or could be confused with the D.C. Comics brand, then yes, It would be infringement. But it's a logo on a drag truck.
The Chevy "bow tie" is a trademarked symbol as is "HEMI". It's different, but racers paint them all over their cars without ever thinking all the time. In the end, it all depends on who sees it and how they think. Do lawyers frequent your home track? Variations of color and layout or font can work around this issue. Maybe wrapping it in Chevy "S" 10 in some way. I can play with this over the week if you want. I never worked in the industry but I have design training. Dale

Re: New build, "Name That Truck" submissions requested
Dale, we will race NHRA Division 4 Lucas series plus two NHRA nationals in Texas [Houston & Dallas]
In addition, some IHRA and their National in San Antonio. So yes, there is potential to be noticed. I think the concept is way cool, opens the door to all manor of play on words. "Faster than a speeding bullet" - "leap tall buildings" "stronger than a locomotive" etc. It you want to work on it that is fine. Please understand, Michael Beard will produce the "decal". so if you are willing to give him the design to produce I am good with that. Michael has already produced several logos for us and I want to continue with a great relationship.
