Re: What would be the min size truck to tow 24 foot enclosed?
I wouldn't even consider it. It has more to do with weight, but I tow a 28' enclosed trailer with a GMC2500HD Diesel and it's the smallest truck I would use. Should've gotten the 3500 dually...

100 thou on a 7.3 ford or a Cummings is nothing these engines will go 300thou easily if they have been/are taken care of STAY AWAY from the Ford 6.0 or 6.4 NOTHING BUT EXPENSIVE MAJOR PROBLEMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! a V10 gas motor in a Ford is a good engine 5.4 is underpowered not enuf HP /torque there to move that weight-late model Dodge with a Hemi not too sure about most guys run the Cummins " The Duramax is a good engine but hard to find and pretty pricey if you find a truck with one in it-Its all about do you want to control the trailer or do ya want the trailer to control you"---You can use a 1/2 ton but it is not advisable brakes and suspension just cannot handle the load safely--Comp

Cummings + Dually and you'll wonder why you considered anything else.
