In typical Norwalk efficiency, R2 of Stock was going down the track a few minutes before 8:00. The air is significantly better this morning - yes there were breakouts. SS R2 has been called to the lanes.

Yo Ken, the signal is pretty good, right now.

FYI for anyone going home thru Cincinnati , you need to take 275 around. I
I71 south is closed and you have to detour. Traffic was awful. We lost about half an hour thru there!

Hi guys and ladies! Wish I could be up there with you but work is keeping us busy.
Larry and Patsy are right! Not only is 71 South a detour but as of Friday night 2 lanes each way on the Brent Spence bridge (I-71 & I-75) are closed leaving only 1 lane open FOR THE NEXT 2 MONTHS!!!
Take I -275 West is the best bet, adds 20-25 minutes but if you approach Cinci it could be an hour or more to get across the Ohio! LATER and GOOD LUCK to all!!

Everyone scrambled and got there but I think they really did not treat us fairly. Larry wasn't as upset as I am but they should have given us a little bit of warning. Anyway Timothy Fletcher beat us so we will be heading home bright and early in the morning!
Remember when Redman would come around the pits on a golf cart or scooter and let everyone know when it was time to get ready to run. The new guy in charge fired Redman and went with the brilliant idea of sending everyone a text message when it was time to run. How's that working out for ya now????

We need to address this mistreatment in a fasion that gets and holds NHRA's attention. We are paying customers. I any business when paying customers are not treated with respect the business goe's away to someone else who know's how to make thier customers happy. NHRA doe's not have valid competition and that is why they get away with treating us like *****. How can we doe this? It needs to be rectified soon. Some ground rules need to be established concerning making all racers aware of when they will be called to the lanes with a minimum amount of time to prepare. 30 minutes sounds reasonable to me. 70 stockers brought in a minimum of $23,100.00 in entry fees plus crew passes at this event alone. This is nothing to be overlooked.

In the big picture of them doing much I understand your frustrations, but on a smaller scale I can tell you that I was at the Denver divisional and needed to get my chassis recertified. Once I was done I needed to go out to the front gate to buy my tech card. Blackwell offered a ride, so I could just leave my car and just get it teched when I got back.
