Good things from the race: The track hooked for me every time with the new 4457 Goodyear's. Some people had trouble spinning with the mickeys in the heat of the day. Tech was done at the trailer, or in the area close to the credential trailer. Tech was very racer friendly. Red, Wallace, Dale, and the rest of the crew always came by in time so you could get to staging on time for your run, thank you! Being towed to staging by Patsy was a real learning experience for both of us, we laughed, we cried, and now we really laugh about it. The car was always cool at the starting and that is always a plus.

Bottom line car went fast for us, thought we had chance to win, and we had a great time with friends!

Did anyone notice the half empty stands? Can't be a good sign. I hate too see it, but drag racing is dying a slow death.

I look at this way--The pros-WTF does a dragster look like to a car guy--The funny cars are goofy looking and pro stock cars aren't much better-whats left?

These were taken on Saturday morning, mostly 3rd round, between 9-11 or so.

I'm watching ESPN now during eliminations. Don't look like 10 years ago.

Please click on the link in my signature or Mom's signature for video of the Jeg's All-Star race. Go to the blog section of the website.

Included is the Stock Heads up of Taylor and Glasbrenner.

Don't see anything to click on.
Am I missing something?

Ya Mark, I should have stressed that. The amount of almost worthless dollars it takes to race is a big, big part of what's killing us.
