Get some b**ls and post under your real name, "racers" who start a new profile just to post something like yours do not lend credibility to any position on the issue.

That's better Jason, suggest you change your profile in the UserCP section to show who's posting. Everybody's heard of MR2 and their workmanship is great...as for Carey, all I know is he ran Eric's DP at Indy and let it all hang out, just as it should be done. You also have to face the fact that people that have worked hard for years on their combos only to have misfactored combos devalue their stuff are going to take it personal. The CJ/DP debate is going to continue for a long time so roll with it.

The real joke is all u you cry babys on here whining and crying about the DP and CJ cars!!!!!!! It was all good when guys like you with your LS or LT cars were dominate in stock!!!!
No, it was not good. The LS1/LT1 were also way underfactored, and it took more than a decade to get them in the right zipcode. It was wrong then, and it is wrong now.

Mr. Bales and Mr. Merryfield conduct themselves professionally.

For the millionth time, no one faults the drivers and owners for picking a combination. The cars absolutely are very cool. There's no complaint about that. The burden lies with the manufacturers and ultimately NHRA.

So you are bragging now because you are one of the "bigger boys"?? I think you have the boy part right. I dont think anyone will be impressed with the performance of these cars until they are factored correctly so dont go tooting your big boy horn just yet. Also, the LS1 and LT1 cars were never dominant like this, I remember seeing Mike Walter outrun them for class with his litle 327, several times, when the LT1's were in their prime. So you arent anything special with your new drag pak, MR2 performance blah blah blah. I think its great that Ford and Chrysler have been a part of this, but all of these unrealistic times are not because the cars are so fast and everyone has worked so hard on these combinations to produce them, but because they are so soft. And its not the racers fault, they are taking advantage of the system, which isnt working.

Jason,

If you're going to post like that, I suggest that not only should you race a DP car, but I think you better make sure it's the fasted DP out there

I still say people would have no problem (or at least a lot less of a problem) if they had made the production vrsion of these cars legal just like the LT cars where when they came out. The fact that you can not take a real production car with the production combo and run stock is my biggest issue.

very well said. I would imagine Mr. Merryfield and Mr. Bales will probably put the leash back on their dog pretty quickly
