Jim, the site says every thing will be confirmed bi Jan.30/25. It probably
has been. Oh, you wanted them to print it too so we would know what's
going on? That's a whole different story my friend. LOL.

The Edelbrock Group will be posting contingency at both National and Divisional events in the following Classes.

Competition Eliminator
Super Stock
Stock Eliminator
Super Comp
Super Gas
Super Street
Top Dragster
Top Sportsman

Factory Stock Showdown
Factory X

We will also post for the Jegs All Star event and the Summit ET Series.

We will be posting for the following products.

COMP Cams Camshafts
Edelbrock Intake Manifolds
Edelbrock Cylinder Heads
Edelbrock VRS 4150 Series Carburetor
FAST EFI
FAST Ignition
TCI Converter
Lunati Camshafts

***We will continue to pay for Class Wins at the Baby Gators, Cajun Sportsnationals, Columbus Sportsnationals and the U.S. Nationals. This year the class contingency forms will have to be handled directly with us. I will try to get the sign up information for the Baby Gators Class Contingency out this week. If you do not receive any information from me, please reach out to me directly at bcarroll@edelbrock.com. I will do my best to handle the class contingency as smoothly as the standard NHRA contingency procedure, hopefully to the point of you not noticing the difference.

Thank you to all of the racers for your support. Have a safe and successful 2025 season.

Thank you Dan and Larry for the kind words. I have been very fortunate both in the support and friendship I have personally received from all of the sportsman racers. The time spent in the sportsman pits and lanes are by far the biggest perk of the job.

I am equally fortunate to have been with COMP Cams for almost 16 years (now the Edelbrock Group). Shortly after I arrived, Chris Douglas approached me about the idea of handling the contingency program for the group. Conversations with Chris and Scooter Brothers stressed the importance of the sportsman racers and their support, and ours for them.

I came in when we had Gordon Holloway, Tim Cole, Gary Henderson and Chris Padgitt. I still have Dean Harvey and David Page as a couple of the original sportsman support guys that I traveled to events with and continue to do so with along with a few new guys. It seems odd to refer to them as new with 10+ years with the company. I've benefited from all the racer relationships these guys have had for decades and I am lucky to have a group that continues to support the sportsman racer.

I tend to get a lot of the credit because I process the contingencies and send the checks, but the program doesn't work without the people that support me, be it a coworker behind the scenes or a racer in the pits.

I hope to see you guys in Gainesville and Belle Rose.
