Torque Flight or racing manual. Dana 60, 9 inch, not sure of the 8 3/4. A four link. The best answer will come from NHRA in writing.

Rick,

Do you have the head castings for this combination?

I do, at this point I'm contemplating a direction to take.

Cool! I know that those things are really hard to find. I wouldn't contemplate that combination unless I had parts in hand.

All of the 2009 dragpaks were shipped with either a tremec 6 speed stick or a 5 speed automatic, most run a 904 or a 727 on the auto front, 4 speed or 5 speed on the stick front. Dana 60 for the rear, maybe 9 inch now since the 11's or so came with 9 inches new.

Search dragpak build manual, and you can confirm at least the tranny info page 29 all info that was presented to nhra. rear suspension is 4 link.

LC22R Challenger Drag Pak - Part # P5155820

2009's only came with dummy transmissions that were mostly warranty returns to hold up the engine, and no rear suspension installed . 904'or 727's are acceptable . I've also did a Jerico setup in one. Here's a link to the correct manual that depicts the accepted 4 link rear suspension dimensions and locations . At the time I built one only the Dana and 8 3/4 were accepted . later cars were built with suspension already done and had a "factory 9" installed
I don't know how closely they scrutinize the 4 link these days with minimal tech .T
They had the one I did up in the air and measured the 4 link against the specs in the book.
Here's the link to the P5155775 manual available from Jeg's Pages 34-36 outline the accepted rear suspension.
