?? Marks in threads?

I initially thought it was only me but I noticed on numerous threads that ?? marks keep popping up ….WTF.

I've noticed it, too. Thought it was my cheap azz 'puter.

Yeah, I noticed it happened when using words with apostrophes like don?t can?t, etc.
