Exclamation Ryan Competition Carburetors

A lot of you know me, a lot of you don’t. My name is Billy Ryan I race Super Stock, on January 1st 2024 I took the leap and started my own Carburetor business “Ryan Competition Carburetors”. While I do carburetors for all facets of racing, I do a lot of stock and super stock carburetors. I am going to use this platform to show off the S/SS Carburetors in the shop from start to finish. I’ll do my best to stay up to date on it. I’ll answer questions more in-depth then on my facebook. Speaking of Facebook, if you could go to the Class Racer home page and hit my logo right above this forum it will bring you to my Facebook. Please like and follow the page that will keep you up to date with all the carburetors I am doing. 95% of the stuff I do is Holley based (includes Quickfuel & Billet) 4150 racing. I do some for street and some Quadrajets. Yes I can rebuild and refinish your Quadrajet, I am currently working on calibrations for different engines so until then I will just freshen them. If you need anything please don’t hesitate to reach out. Thanks for reading hope to see you back here soon 🤙🇺🇸

looks nice ---couple of questions ---why don't you eliminate the cross over tube and plug those ports and knock out the plug and thread the inlet ports on the secondary bowls have a fuel line going there too? makes it much easier to change jets plus you have even fuel distribution to both bowls??? ----- what base plates are you using on this setup??? --- why the vacuum plugs on the vent tubes?? overall it looks good nice clean---FED 387

Thank you,
These particular carburetors, came on the customers purchased engine. They are believed to be tuned to the engine. Before we changed anything we decided we need to have a baseline. The dual feed could be something we do in the future, or maybe go to center hung bowls and billet metering blocks, but 1/2 through the year we need to make sure they are right for the combo before we changed anything. The baseplates are 1.750 which could also go to billet in the future. The vacuum caps are for shipping so nothing goes down the vent tubes.

Billy did an amazing job on these carbs for me, I highly recommend giving him a shout for any carb related projects! If you could have seen these carbs when I sent them to Billy, which you can see on his FB page you will be amazed, thank you Billy for the great service and great turn around! I’m very impressed.

Billy

I haven't seen you mention Thermoquads. Any experience or magic up your sleeve with the black plastic monsters?
