It's RACE week!!! We make our first stop of the 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣3️⃣ season this weekend at Coastal Plains Raceway Park Dragway. Gates open on Friday, Mach 24th at 3 p.m. for a track hosted Test-N-Tune from 5 p.m.-9 p.m.

Saturday's title race sponsor is Robbie Draughon Powertrain Development of Fayetteville, NC (www.rdpd.com). Robbie owns & operates a full-service machine shop, has an engine dyno & is also a CCRA-Carolina Class Racers Association racer so if you're in need of any high performance machine work, be sure to contact Robbie. The associate sponsor is Mutts N Butts, owned by Kelsey Alexander, wife of CCRA-Carolina Class Racers Association racer Korey Alexander. This is a grooming business so if your fur baby is in need of some special attention, be sure to get in touch with Kelsey & she will take care of them.

Sunday's title race sponsor is Edwards Heating & Air out of Jacksonville, NC. This business is also owned & operated by local bracket racers, Ricky & Lauren Edwards. It's supposed to warm up this weekend so if you close to Jacksonville & need to give your AC a tune up for the 100* days, be sure to contact them. The associate sponsor is Brister Racing. Al Brister is the head CEO of this business & I think he tries to keep Billy Plage on the payroll 😉! Al is also a CCRA-Carolina Class Racers Association racer out of Morehead City, NC. A few notes to highlight for the upcoming weekend:
* $200.00 to enter points
* $100.00 to enter race
* Points is as follows:
10 to enter
5 per round won
Counting Best 10 out of 12 races
10 bonus points for attending ALL 12 races
* Seatbelts must be within 2 years (same rule as NHRA)
* Helmets must be Snell SA2015 or Newer (same rule as NHRA)
* Bounty Hunter Award: If previous race winner isn't at next race, award will then go to the Runner-Up from said race, & if Runner-Up also isn't in attendance, then we will go to the Dash for Cash Winner from previous race
* Permanent class destination/car #'s on all windows
* Blinders ARE allowed
* We will have CCRA-Carolina Class Racers Association for sale starting Saturday morning.
* We will continue to do a raffle for $10.00 for each spot to win weekend entry.
