Both Larry. They will start off being primary late because they wait till the yellow is full on and by the time they figure it out they've let it roll past. When that repeatedly fails they will become frustrated and try to 'meet" it, and then their red. It's a vicious cycle.LOL
Missing the blocker from seeing opponents car moving will bring in all sorts of scenarios.

It appears that someone got their panties wadded up! It doesn't matter!

The reality is that a good driver will adapt and still win, with or without blinders.

If the racer who reportedly requested the change has enough influence to have rules changed I’d love to know who it is so I can possibly get a few more tweaks to the rule book. Anyone “in the know” can PM me the name and I’ll provide a six pack of your favorite beverage.

Surely the aforementioned incident at Orlando was an overreach/overreaction by a tech official and by the No Problem Division race (or certainly the Baby Gators) this will be ironed out.

Any associations adopting the binder verboten rule?

The blinder deal surely was never in anyone I know's radar. Out of the 6 folks I associate with. One uses a sun visor. I happened to pull up last year's Jegs race where there were over 128 cars in stock. There weren't that many at all using a blinder. I'm guessing less than 10. I did hear there was some rumbling in the stagging lanes at the end of the year over champions. Measuring their skills and how they achieved them. Maybe look there.
