I'm really not that familiar with all of the Super Stock GT stuff.
Anybody know if it would be legal to drop in a 1997 LT1 rated at 279 hp into a 1970 442 Convertible? What class would it run?
Seems like it would be pretty easy with this combo to run the index?

You could but be advised.... the HP factor of that combo in SS/GT is 295 hp not 279. It is only 279 hp in traditional super stock.

You are correct. I was thinking about cross over of Mopar/AMC parts in general such as in Stock.
