Trailer A/C recommendation
I have a 2006 Pace American 26ft that the A/C works intermittently. It's an older Carrier IV. I've replaced a few parts that I thought might cure it but since they no longer make these units or replacement parts I've decided it's time for a new unit.
looking for recommendations on brands, would prefer a soft start as it has to run off of a Yamaha 3000 inverter generator. Kelly Lane

I've had good luck with Coleman 13,500 btu air conditioner with heat strip, runs good on the 3000 watt generator , this is on a 28ft trailer

Re: Trailer A/C recommendation
Kelly, there's no question that the 13.5 Coleman unit is the way to go. Just be aware that when running it in super hot weather, it'll pull close to 2K watts and not leave you with much more power for anything else. But, like most racers, you'll probably only use the AC unit and a battery charger for your hot rod, so you should be good to go with your generator.
